DID YOU KNOW...
Cleveland Alzheimers receives funding for care home fees, however, we still need to raise additional funds to maintain the high quality and specialist nature of the services we provide.
As a charity we rely on people of all ages to fundraise for us, without them we would not be able to provide the specialist services and develop new and innovative ways to support people affected by dementia and their families.
In this day and age with everyone’s hectic lifestyles it can be really difficult to find the time to raise money for Cleveland Alzheimers but it can be very rewarding.
You will meet new people, have fun and feel a real sense of pride by making a real difference to the lives of people affected by dementia.
Volunteer work can be enormously rewarding, as well as a chance to meet new people and enjoy new challenges.
As a charity, Clevearc recognises that input from voluntary supporters is invaluable. Working with people affected by dementia in a voluntary capacity is fun, flexible and rewarding for them, their families and the volunteer.
We would like to hear from anyone interested in a voluntary role at Clevearc. Some of the roles include:
